What Is Clostridia—And Why Do We Look for It in Children on the Autism Spectrum?

Parents of children on the autism spectrum are sometimes surprised when we start talking about gut bacteria.

An elevated HPHPA marker doesn't diagnose an infection or prove that Clostridia are causing a child's symptoms.
